About Michael Clever
The majority of my work experience, since finishing A&P school, has been in general aviation. Mostly single and twin engine airplanes such as Cessna (C150-421), Beechcraft, (Bonanza, Baron) Piper (Cherokee, Aztec), and Mooney. Being involved in about every aspect of maintenance on these types of aircraft, from oil changes, to engine changes. Held a FAA IA (Inspection Authorization) license for a few years 2005-2011. Some experience with larger aircraft as well, such as King Airs, CRJ, and Dash 8s. The time not working in aviation, I was working mostly in production jobs. Making concrete additive products, or working on an automobile brake assembly assembly line, even a little carpentry. Other things I am involved in are:Certified (8/16) open water SCUBA diving. Amateur Radio. (Ham Radio) call KD8RQV. A General class FCC license. I was first licensed in 2012, as a Technician, then 1 year later (almost to the day) upgraded to General. I'm a NWS (National Weather Service) trained weather spotter. Taken several classes on weather spotting and reporting.I also enjoy hiking, traveling, kayaking, camping, reading, nature and wildlife photography, scuba diving, sailing, and when I have extra time, self learning Spanish.
