As a Associate Project Engineer I am involved with certification of PPE and Marine Equipment for the EU, US and Canadian markets. I am involved with the certification process and currently being trained as an auditor. I have knowledge of the certification process, US and EU standards and ISO 17025 and ISO 17065.

Development testing of prototype Toroidal Variator transmissions involved developing test programmes and plans, writing technical reports and presentations, setting up instrumentation and data acquisition, and ensuring calibration prior to testing. Liaising with Project Managers to deliver test results and further development of the product.

Designing and running tests on vehicles focusing on the NVH characteristics. Setting up instrumentation in vehicles and on chassis dynamometer. Managing equipment for NVH department including purchase, calibration and repair. Responsible for looking after all NVH facilities including Semi Anechoic Dynamometer, Aerodynamics Lab and Modal Cell.

Developing and designing test setups and instrumentation and managing testing through to writing the report at completion whilst liaising with the customer to ensure testing delivered to their expectations.
