From August 2005 - October 2006, I taught in a lab on campus under the direction of Dr. Mi-Ching Tsai, who chaired the Department of Mechanical Engineering. I also assisted faculty and students from the Department of Systems and Naval Mechatronic Engineering (under the direction of Dr. Min-Fu Hsieh), and for one semester the Department of Engineering Science.From March 2007 to August 2018, I served Dr. Tsai's lab in a remote role, so I've been working remotely for quite some time! In this job, I learned a great deal about the process of research: from concept to experimentation, to the writing and editing process, as well as the world of publication.
