I work to ensure customer satisfaction is at its peak, while also maintaining a workflow that guarantees all of our visitors receive café-quality beverages made to the Starbucks standard. My main focus is on creating that warm, welcoming environment that all of our regulars have come to love, but also maintains that approachable feel for newer members of our community to always feel like they have a place here. My job requires speed and efficiency so that people can afford the time out of their day to pay us a visit, and to make sure that each one of them leaves us having had their enjoyment maximized. When a member of our community walks in, I completely understand what it means to many of them to have a "third place" available to them away from the stresses of home and work, somewhere where each one of them feels welcome and at ease where they can have a break from their day to recharge. Many of them are students such as myself, or business professionals who have had to work extra hard over the past year. I think a summary of my home store's mission statement says it best, "we are results-oriented through the lens of humanity".

During my time with Chik-fil-a, I learned what the real meaning of southern hospitality is. Chik-fil-a as a company fosters a warm and welcoming environment for people to get some of the best chicken, alongside the best service in the industry. In my role with the team, I quickly learned that the one thing people value above great food, and that is when they are welcomed with a genuine smile from a member of their community. Many people who have been to visit one of the many locations across the country already know that when you come inside to visit, it is our pleasure to help make sure you have the best experience possible during your time with us. Aside from the great food, this is where the real key to their success lies, in making sure everyone doesn't just receive service with a smile, but also a real sense of appreciation since it is all of us together who make continued success possible. It is thanks to my time with Chik-fil-a that I am confident that I will always remember to create that sense of community for everyone around me in each future role I take on.
