My name is Mike Willms and I am President of Hendricks Holding Company in Beloit, Wisconsin. I help lead a collaborative effort overseeing and advising a diverse portfolio of operating companies. www.hendricksholding.com My responsibilities start with communicating and implementing ownership's vision, mission and primary goals. Two of the most important goals are successfully deploying capital while simultaneously maintaining and growing employment and career opportunities for all of the portfolio company associates. Our goal at HHC is to drive a culture of respect, collaboration, innovation, risk-taking and continuous improvement all while striving for a positive, fun work environment. HHC helps the management teams stay abreast of macro and micro economic factors including world politics, federal, state and local government related changes, unemployment, inflation, economic growth and interest rates. HHC utilizes the tools at hand to work with the portfolio company management teams in developing tactical improvements around ever changing economic considerations. In short, there is always something to do and never a boring day.My background is uniquely tailored to successfully fulfill my HHC responsibilities. Through a diverse, bottom up career in finance, I have developed an innate ability to analyze financial information with the goal of efficiently allocating capital on a risk adjusted basis. Direct, early experience included the preparation of detailed financial statements, and later analyzing publicly filed financials with the goal of making informed financial decisions. Those decisions were always based on successful capital allocation and I was extremely fortunate to work with clients who were some of the most legendary investors in history and thereby the best capital allocators. My previous clients include several firms who's founders are now on the Forbes 400 list. Over the years I have developed the skills necessary to not only invest wisely to create wealth, but also to hold on to that wealth once it is created.My strengths include:
