From as far back as I can remember, I have always loved design and technology. Now I might have been born in an area before the internet was around. But whilst I was qualifying as Signwriter, I have always had a passion for computers and the tech behind the net. Being on a different career path and having a young family, I never could dive into web development successfully. I was the can-do man to all my clients and even put my hand into building some websites for them when they asked. In 2019 after spending 25 years as a Signwriter, I decided to sell my business. I decided to now finally leap to put my all into web development. For about two years, I have been learning solid in amongst building websites for clients and managing kids in covid lockdowns. I love this industry and can see myself working in it for time to come.In 2020 I completed a Diploma in UX Design and Web Production. In this learning process, I have formed a foundation in UX Design, Research and User Testing. I have significant strengths in HTML, CSS, SASS and Javascript. I have also acquired a solid understanding of JQuery, React with exposure to the MERN stack and Rest API. I have also covered PHP with WordPress and building custom themes. I have recently undertaken an E-Commerce certificate and am further learning Shopify's Liquid and WordPress's Woocommerce.I have a lot of experience dealing with clients and completing projects on time and with flair & precision. I have a great thirst to learn and I would consider myself very diverse across lots of roles. I love to code, I love to design, I love to work with clients that appreciate the skills you have to solve their problems.
