As an environmental activist, my number one priority is guarding our Earth and its ecosystems against the threat of climate change. That being said, I have learned through experience that the intersection between environmental stewardship and civil/human rights runs deep. Not only is the physical world around us at risk, but so are the lives of many vulnerable communities across the globe. This is why I include fighting racism and inequity in my priority of guarding our Earth.My specialty is influencing communities at multiple levels, local to international. I work in teams to create and pass legislation that prioritizes human and ecosystem health. By getting involved with grassroots organizations like Earth Guardians or Climate Reality Project, as well as using my personal networks, I have sought to inspire as many members of my communities as possible to join the cause.The highlights of both my life and career have come about through this work. I was humbled to have been able to coordinate strikes with the renowned Greta Thunberg and to have sat on a panel discussion with Congressman Joe Neguse and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. These were unforgettable moments, and they continue to motivate me as I grow and gain additional experience.
