To further my experience and expertise in these fields I have successfully worked in diverse environmental sectors throughout my career. This has given me a broadened outlook and skill base where I implement effective and workable strategies to overcome complexities that constantly arise when working in our dynamic natural environment.I previously managed civil and environmental compliance issues for Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD's) or storm water quality management assets throughout the Gold Coast.Assessing design issues, monitoring and overseeing the construction of Bio Filtration assets, constructed wetlands and associated water quality management devices throughout the City of Gold Coast, conducting 4-500 asset inspections annuallyI provide ongoing education within council and industry surrounding design, construction and maintenance of the these complex environmental protection assets. To that end am a contributor to the recently updated QLD Water by Design WSUD guidelines.I work closely with environmental and ESC development and management, being active in monitoring/auditing the diverse civil and domestic construction industry assessing the implementation and management of onsite ESC/environmental controls on construction sites, some of which have been up to 1.2 million m2 in size and complexity.WSUD assets are complex environmental water quality management systems and are unique to each development environment, requiring a broad knowledge and skill base to ensure sustainable whole of life outcomes benefits for local Govt's. Asset custodians and the development industry, protecting our natural environment and the people who live around them.I specialise in the assessment and compliance of the whole of life aspects of these assets and the environments they are designed to integrate with and protect, from design through construction and maintenance.
