Short Term Contract as a Maintenance Planner fill in role.

South Walker Creek Mine Qld

I was transferred to South walker in September 2021 in a new planning role to look after all our light Ancil and Workshop equipment. In total there is over 300 pieces of equipment in my fleet including, cranes, forklifts, ewp’s, lighting plants, light vehicles, HR and MR trucks, crib huts and generators.I’m responsible for all the repairs and maintenance including mandatory brake tests and compliance that I plan into AMT daily. I also am responsible for our 3 monthly lifting inspections, electrical tag and test, hydraulic tool audits and the Air Con Register. That it is all current with certificates attached in AMT if required.I raise purchase orders in D365 for all parts required, equipment rentals and sub-contractors. Making sure these costs are attached to the asset to reflect in our monthly BI reports.I submit weekly workshop and production equipment plans in AMT raising work orders, creating events. Then scheduling them in our 24-hour timeline over our 7-day shift and signed off by the maintenance and production superintendents to agree that they will stay in plan for the week.I have many other numerous roles on site here working in with our accounts and purchasing team in Melbourne, so all my vendors are paid promptly not to affect getting equipment or parts on time.

Coordinator / Supervisor. Opening and closing off work orders in AMT and 365. Ordering components and parts for our mining fleet. Working closely with warehousing, supervising workshop / service bay.Managing shut downs on our 793F fleet. Making sure labour is available and suitable for the task. Setting up rosters for fitters so we have complete coverage during the project, including two main fitters that work together on first and last rostered day. All relevant pass outs, SOP,s, JSA,s and assessments are completed and followed by our team during the builds. Ordering, tracking and setting up job cages with all relevant parts for each truck separated for each work order. Making up job packs with all relevant paperwork including PCR reports, Planned work, Back logs, Exit sheets, for the crew to have ready for each truck. Organising external companies to be available for compliance audits eg: fire suppression, crack testing on steering components. Attend morning maintenance / planers meetings so management knows if we are on target or if any problems need to be addressed in relation to the shut downs. Catch up with fitters during each shift discuss any issues, safety improvements, tooling needs for the task. Check that they are working safely, and relevant paperwork is signed off. Thorough hand overs are completed so next crew has a good understanding of where we are up to on the project. I also complete all the component change out forms for reman, pex and rotatable. Prepare for transport and have sent off site promptly for quick turn around.

Other duties include setting up the new warehouse facility.Learning new inventory software D365 and Scanner software.Fluent in AMT and Cat SIS softwareBuilding inventory and categorising.Assisting Maintenance Superintendent with weekly and monthly planning.Working on Major / Minor component change outs organising all parts and building into kit form to assist fitter.Step up Maintenance Superintendent when Superintendent is away or on leave.
