Senior Estimator
Current• Organization and coordination of all estimating procedures.• Participation in the preconstruction process including estimating methods based on historical costs.• Conceptual estimating methods to develop quantities not yet shown. • Analyze plans and specifications to evaluate defined and/or intended scope of work.• Perform detailed quantity take-off.• Pricing of trade specific work including materiel cost, labor, equipment, burden.• Material solicitation. Communication with suppliers to ensure proper material for the intended scope of work.• Evaluate labor requirement, schedule, duration and integrate to current labor commitments.• Provide value analysis as required, researching alternate materials, approaches and methods for cost advantages.• Analyzing proposals and scope to ensure complete coverage and potential risk.• Lead scope verification and specification compliance meeting during the buyout process.• Conduct a job acceptance meeting to ensure a smooth transition between precon/estimating and operations.~ Develop and maintain accepted Project Archiving system
