Michael Jaquet brings twenty years of financial market experience both from the investment banking and the corporate world. Before founding Financial Risk Pilot AG, he was in charge of the financing and financial risk management – rates, FX, credit – for a very large Swiss company.Michael managed a 9bn CHF debt portfolio and a 1bn derivatives portfolio. Over 2015-2016, he secured more than 1bn of term financing at an average tenor of 12 years and an average cost 0.00%. In 2016, he saved 25mn in interest cost compared to budget and significantly reduced the interest rate risk thanks to a combination of strategic and tactical decisions. During his career, Michael has worked for leading investment banks on some of the largest M&A transactions for Swiss corporates in (acquisition related) financing and risk management projects. He also covered Swiss public entities for more than ten years.He is a member of ACTSR and EACT and holds a Master degree in Banking & Finance from the University of St.Gallen (HSG). He is fluent in 3 languages.
