Operations Manager
Current Oversee state of the art document/imaging facility to improve user ease of use, system performance, scalability, maintainability, spending and budgeting. Track and manage paper records by utilizing our Computer Integrated Records Management (CIRM) system and AS/400. Manage a production and technical staff Service Delivery Manager managing records and information across multiple media, including paper, microfilm and microfiche, audio/visual film, computer tapes, digital tape, and optical platters, as well as millions of cubic feet of archival records and active files. Responsible for conducting interviews for new hires, training, scheduling, and retention of employees as well as payroll processing and tracking employee hours Interface with Clients so that requests are rapidly retrieved and provided to the client via electronic transmission, mail, or delivery via Diversified or third-party couriers. Participate in monthly meetings where we discuss daily responsibilities of the facility, future projects, and completed projects; Analyze budgets to improve effectiveness and efficiency throughout the organization. Compose delivery routes for client consolidation projects. Deliver and pick-up cartons of records from various client locations through the use of company box truck and/or Sprinter van and tracking of same through ISO approved paperwork and/or hand held scanner while ensuring material is handled properly and safely. Perform necessary administrative functions such as; mileage reporting, gas usage, scanning reports and compliance to ISO procedures. Ensure facility maintains ISO 9000 standards and certification by ensuring proper documentation and records are used. Also maintain standards set by National Archives and Records Administration to ensure facility keeps NARA certification. Oversee and evaluate the client document destruction process and ensure the proper documents have been retrieved and are destroyed properly.
