Since 2003, I’ve earned recognition as an expert on issues of sustainability, cross-sectoral partnerships, accountability and impactful grantmaking. I’m a builder by nature and love to design, develop and lead global programs and initiatives that promote good governance, accountability and justice across multiple sectors. My work has enabled me to collaborate and strategize with leaders of government, industry, civil society and the donor community in addressing a range of development needs and issue areas ranging from malnutrition to anti-corruption. A dedicated manager, I build engaged teams and prioritize people development while fostering inclusive and participatory cultures. Career highlights include:• Leading the relaunch of the Transparency and Accountability Initiative (TAI) that influences more than $600 million in active philanthropic grants and serving as a trusted advisor to funding partners (Chandler, Ford, Hewlett, Luminate, MacArthur, Open Society and Skoll Foundations and U.K. Foreign and Commonwealth Office) as well as practitioners in the field.• Designing and launching the Governance of Extractive Industries program at the World Bank and building GOXI.org as a 5,000-member community of practice for governance of the extractives industry.• Incubating a World Bank practice area on opening up procurement and spinning out the Open Contracting Partnership as an independent initiative that continues to exist as a global $6 million, 30-person organization.tractives industry.• Designing and leading multi-million dollar trust funds to provide grants for civil society and for government capacity building.• Working with communities to fight for restitution for environmental damages via strategic litigation.
