The aim of the thesis was to segment and classify objects like cars, pedestrians, bicyclists etc in a point cloud obtained from a LIDAR. Classification algorithms that I worked with: Feed Forward Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, Random Forests and K-Nearest Neighbors. The implementations where written in C++.
