- Complete daily rounds/checks of high pressure boilers, air compressors, chillers, water heaters and other utilities systems supporting the Zoo - Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and reactive maintenance on facility/utility systems- Adjust or replace worn or defective mechanisms and parts, and reassemble repaired systems- Monitor fire alarm & life support systems

- Used ANSI standards to calibrate tools and technical equipment for companies to ensure that the equipment they use to run their business are within manufacturer specifications.

- Obtained Unescorted Access via a thorough background check.- Followed the activities of the maintenance shop and electrical shop for one week each.- Part of the nuclear curriculum in DCTC degree program for Energy Technical Specialist.Personal experience: RCA entry with dress out, job briefings, observation of basic mechanical maintenance (filters, grease application, warehouse entry, paperwork, etc.), and simple electrical maintenance (switch replacement, lift/land forms, brush inspection and cleaning, data collection, etc.)
