Disassembling and assembling diecast tooling weighing 4 tons and up byusing precise techniques to finish and fit inserts, set-up water and oilsystems, fit core and ejector pins, etc. Set-up and operating numericalmachines such as mills, lathes, surface grinders, and edge grinders to cut,grind, otherwise shape diecast parts to blueprint or model specification.

Set-up and operate CNC lathes to cut, drill, bore, otherwise shape parts to blueprint specification. Deburr necessary parts using a large variety of tools. Set-up and operate conventional machines such as mills, lathes, prototrak mills, and surface grinders to cut grind or shape part to a predefined dimension. Set pyrometer controls of heat treating furnaces to harden tool steel.
