Responsible for overall analysis of Sony global consumer and support to reduce costs of assisted and online support in addition to other initiatives that can improve Sony’s customer satisfaction while reducing the overall cost of support. Coordinate the global support experience for Sony by collaborating with the Account Managers from China, Japan and Latin America along with the Sony TAM and MS account teams. Handle Sony products sustaining and support by understanding their global support issues and working collaboratively with all teams to resolve them. Accomplishments:• Managed readiness support for Windows 7 and 8 globally, including training in seven global locations. Visited Sony support sites and presented to Sony VP and managers in San Diego, Japan, and Europe. Collaborated with all teams including Microsoft to ensue supportability with all PMs, sales teams to assure best support, tools, business and technologies utilized to improve Sony’s processes and procedures from an end-to-end perspective.• Demonstrated support cost decreases for Sony in assisted support and improved e-support usage showing call deflection.• Created a world-wide support network team consisting of Japan, China, and Latin America and in the US to maintain a consistent global support process.• Coordinated effort to assist Sony with online community collaborating with the various teams within Sony.• Managed relationships with Iolo, Kaspersky, Sony Premium Service group and other service organizations to develop support tools for customers, service and onsite groups.
