I am an experienced electrical technician turned Mechanical Engineer. This unique perspective allows for an exceptional understanding in the production, testing, maintenance and repair of engineered products. As a veteran of the United States Armed Forces (US ARMY), I am familiar with a multitude of systems, concepts and ideas used by national defense agencies in conjunction with the US Military. I remain diverse with extensive knowledge in subjects such as: material science, manufacturing abilities, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and stress analysis.Experienced in SolidWorks 3D CAD design software having used it for more than six years in an educational environment and vocational setting, with two years as a Tooling Design Engineer employed by a material science and manufacturing company. My responsibilities include design, creation, and testing of an array of durable biodegradable containers. I thrive in a rapid prototype environment and have significant exposure to manufacturing, machining processes and optimization, including use of metrology equipment. I am geared for challenges involving projects from conception to creation.
