Michael McDonnell has been with TOBIN Consulting Engineers since September 1999 and since then he has worked on numerous infrastructural projects through the country. His experience includes the the preparation of feasibility/preliminary reports, design, contract documentation, procurement and supervision of Civil/Building works and mechanical & electrical works projects for the Water Services Sector and Building/Infrastructure Sector in Ireland.Prior to taking up employment with TOBIN Consulting Engineers Michael was a Research Engineer with the Civil Engineering Department of NUI, Galway where he was a key member of the Irish Team associated with a Multi-national European Funded Research Project known as FOREX., This project involved the collection of meteorological data from a remote forest research site in North Mayo and together with six other research sites in six EU countries produced a Hydrology Report about the “Effects of Silvicultural Practices upon the Extreme Flows of Rivers”.
