I am currently a Consultant with Carson McDowell, having been Managing Partner for 8 years and prior to that having led the firm’s Corporate Finance team for a number of years. After five years’ initial experience in Litigation, I have practised in the Corporate Finance Department for the past thirty-one years in which I have gained wide experience in advising clients throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland and often in the United States with regard to commercial activity within the Province.I have advised groups and family companies on, and have a particular interest in, restructures and reorganisations from a succession, business protection and/or taxation perspective.I advise on corporate governance and best practice for boards of directors.I also have extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions both from the buyer side and the seller side.
