For more than 20 years I have focused my career on helping individuals, families, not-for-profits and charitable foundations achieve their wealth management needs. I have extensive experience that includes strategic financial planning advice, investment and superannuation advice, customised portfolio construction, portfolio management, investment policy development and philanthropy.Today a growing number of individuals, families and organisations are seeking to align their investments with their values while meeting financial goals. There is now a substantial body of evidence that demonstrates this can be achieved without sacrificing investment returns. I am able to draw on my expertise in both mainstream and ethical and sustainable investing to deliver competitive investment returns for my clients. My previous experience as an investment adviser in the US gives me broad insights into the US investment markets as well as emerging trends in sustainable investment, innovation and technology. I have also helped clients successfully navigate the most volatile markets in recent years including the 2001 US dot-com bust, the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to specialist training in Financial Planning specific to Australia, I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Princeton University in the United States. I have experience in the design and technology sectors and bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to my work as a financial adviser, as well as a deep passion for innovation and client-focused solutions.The FASEA reforms in Australia have highlighted the need for quality advice in the best interests of clients and community. I am FASEA exam qualified and proud of my contribution to promoting ethical standards for the investment management industry as a previous board member of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia (RIAA).
