Michael Justin Lee is the President and Founder of the university admissions consultancy, The Ivy Dream LLC, and is a member of the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants.He is also the President and Founder of Angels in Absentia, a charity dedicated to fighting global child trafficking.An alumnus of Brown University and New York University, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst and CFA Level 3 examination grader, he was an international institutional investor before serving as the nation’s first Financial Markets Expert-in-Residence in the U.S. Department of Labor. He then entered the professoriate, teaching at Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland, where he was a 3 time winner of the Distinguished Teaching Award and was elected to the University Senate.He is also proudly a part of the new wave of Asian-American artists. Their albums, “Christmas Peace” and “Life is Tough (But I’m a Whole Lot Tougher)” have also been released onto those streaming sites.As a filmmaker, he works primarily in the genre of “edu-tainment.” His most recent movie, released in July of 2022 is a screwball comedy entitled “Mere Oblivion.” All 5 of his movies are available for purchase on the major Transactional Video-on-Demand platforms, in over 80 countries across six continents.Previous cinematic works of his have been screened at Court Métrage Festival de Cannes and have been recipient of a Motion Picture Opportunity Fund grant from the Virginia Film Office.
