Dr. Michael Kabiling has 19 years experience in water resources engineering, hydraulic engineering, coastal engineering, and numerical modeling. As a Senior Engineer and Project Manager at Taylor Engineering, Inc. (http://www.taylorengineering.com), he provides project management, business development, and technical leadership in proposals and engineering studies. He recently completed well ahead of schedule a US$1.1 million project – Herbert Hoover Dam Breach Dam-Break Analysis, Illustrative Flood Inundation Maps and Associated Sensitivity and Uncertainty Analyses. He was Sr. Hydraulic Engineer at Carl Bro International a/s (1995 – 2001) wherein as head of the Mgt. Info. Group, he provided hydraulic engineering and numerical modeling expertise for the Danida funded Pasig River Rehabilitation Program. He led the technology transfer to provide clients the capability to assess the efficacy of river rehabilitation works.
