Coordinated workgroups to address axle durability concerns, inlet/exhaust restriction, as well as track test coordination. Developed for cold-air induction package. Developed powertrain hardware package for mule vehicles. 2003-2006 Chevrolet SSR - Development engineer for vehicle performance, powertrain system development. Identified and corrected system deficiencies to improve vehicle performance.2004 Pontiac GTO - Key deliverables included setting performance and FE targets for 2004 and 2005-2006 powertrains, including torque converter selection testing, fuel economy testing, wind tunnel measurement, coastdown, drive quality and WOT performance measurement. Colorado SS Show vehicle/executive demostration vehicle; Integrated modified V8/manual transmission package & induction into a production Chevrolet Colorado. Developed custom vehicle interface/ engine calibration, including throttle controls and body electrical interfaces. Developed Tremec T56 transmission conversion utilizing available production parts.

Created a proposal for reusable dunnage between casting supplier and assembly facility to reduce material costs and improve finish quality of pre-coated parts. Sourced improved in-process leak testing equipment to verify housing and seal integrity. Designed revised housing seal to eliminate ergonomic issues with existing seal designs.

Responsible for all tooling, jig and fixture issues within the plant including job bids and quotes for machine improvement projects. Developed prototype tooling for pre-production testing. Aided in layout of alternative process flows and plant expansion plans. Organized tool drawings and CAD files for QS-9000 certification.
