It is about figuring out how to inspire others by having strong values, laying out a strong commitment to a shared vision and setting high expectations for those that you lead. You have to show confidence in your team and give them the tools necessary to be successful and you must be willing to learn at every turn. These are all aspects I have learned over a twenty eight year career leading and shaping teams of all sizes and it is what drives me to win. In my current role as Director of Operations, I bring a diverse set of skills acquired over the years from a variety of areas including: retail and rental, logistics, facilities, supply chain and manufacturing. At Stanley Black & Decker, our teams produce innovative solutions that enable our customers to create a global infrastructure. We drive a continuous improvement mindset across our global manufacturing footprint and are on the cutting edge of new product development as we compete in diverse marketplaces around the world. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife Karen and our three kids. We love to go boating on some of the many Minnesota lakes and spend time doing various outdoor activities along the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior.
