Full virtual environment with PCoIP and Microsoft Windows 7 & 10 mixed environment. *Setup secure wireless networks (802.1x/RADIUS/WPA2) and public customer wireless networks on isolated VLANs. Palo Alto zone based isolation between environments. Implemented a four companies with Meraki Wireless. *Performance tuning on Epicor 10. Customizing installation and deployment that exceeded vendor specifications and integrated more efficiently into our separate companies. Performance tuning for SQL Server 2012-2016. *Migrated iSeries to new Series i (V5R4 to V7R1). Migrated user accounts, custom forms and DB2 database and CMS over a weekend with no interruption of manufacturing facilities. *Day to day support of over 70 virtual servers, 300 VDI VM’s, and 50 Mac/Windows laptops. This task is accomplished through scripted automation of repetitive tasks, detailed documentation and procedures and hard work.

*Technical Lead to an 40+ server environment that includes NT SQL, Web and Terminal Servers. *Planned the migration of our 40+ NT Server environment to Windows 2000. Met with management to present timelines, work plans, dependencies, and progress. Special considerations included the move from IIS 4.0 to 5.0, upgrades to the SQL 6.5 and 7.0 environment to SQL 2000, and the development of new firm wide standards for Terminal Services in Windows 2000, including Active Directory considerations, application compatibility issues, and group policies for limited access into the Terminal Server environment to address security concerns. *Created a development to production web environment that included development, testing and finally production environments for application programmers. Debugging and troubleshooting of SQL Stored Procedures, Triggers, VBScript, ASP, JavaScript, and COM for the internally developed financial applications in this environment. *Custom developed a perl program to combat the firm wide spread of the Code Red II virus. By exploiting the backdoor that was created by the virus I was able to programmatically patch all servers remotely. *Co-Developed a DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript, and Perl internal administration utility named Utopia. The application automates various NT Server administration tasks; user creation, log auditing, permissions checking, MTS object registration, Front Page Server Extension administration. Utopia also includes an advanced call tracking system tailored to common administration requests for our group as well as a reporting feature that allows management to see the progress our team makes on requests real time. *Started out as 3rd level technical support. In three months was promoted to Webmaster. Co-Founded the SWAT (SQL, Web and Terminal Server) team.

*Troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and provide purchasing recommendations for computer equipments for Professors and Staff at the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. *Network troubleshooting, configurations, and installation. Installation of Ethernet ports, hubs and switches (Cisco and 3Com). Server configuration for NT Workstations. Registering computers on the domain as well as user privilege administration on the servers. *In charge of PC Y2K auditing. Identified possible problems with current hardware and software, implemented fixes where available and replaced hardware when needed. Achieved full compliance on GSB PC's December 3, 1999. *Evaluate new technologies, including: Advanced OS utilities, alternative applications to the University standard set, 3rd party security enhancements, offline laptop configurations for GSB server dependent proprietary applications. *Maintain IIS web server and FTP server for support technicians.
