At pilz I have worked as part of a team to develop the myPnoz tool.I have been instrinsic to development of new features to better match the functionality of hardware and also refactoring existing code in order to increase scalability and efficiency.I have gained experience working with gitlab ci, Xstate and many other libraries as part of this project.I have also taken on the role of security representative for the team and am in charge of monitoring our dependency vulnerabilities and assessing their impact on our tool, along with suggesting and implementing any changes to it that will benefit the tool from a security perspective.

As part of my continued work in Novartis I have taken part in multiple projects developing apps that have been used globally across the company and have continued to expand my skill base by working with docker and being more involved in the design aspects of projects.

I am proud to have completed the graduate programme at Novartis and look forwards to continuing to expand my skillset and knowledge with them.During my time working at Novartis I have gained a lot of experience in software development. Most notably in Full stack development working closely with technologies such as React, Redux, Typescript, jest, Git,SQL and TypeORM. I have also gained experience working in python, R and statistical methods such as Bayesian inference and linear progression through courses and seminars outside of my own work.

I worked as a Lab Demonstrator in Maynooth University. My main role was to aid students in their understanding of the material covered in their lectures and assist them in completion of their lab.I have demonstrated for the following modules:CS161-Introduction to Computer Science I,CS162-Introduction to Computer Science II,CS211-Data structures & algorithms.

During my work at Croi Laigheann I mostly worked as a Teller providing a service to our members. During the Summer of 2019 I worked as a research intern for HerdInsights. I worked mostly as a data analyst but also had the opportunity to improve some python scripts to make them more efficient.For this project I worked remotely from home and had to report back weekly. I was in charge of documenting all the work I did in order to be able to report back to my supervisor every 2 to 3 weeks.
