The Dew Crisp Group was formed through the merging of the business and farming interests of its two founding directors, namely Bruce Glazer and Michael Kaplan. The "Dew Crisp" and "Green Leaf" business operations merged and together acquired a third farm called "Megatola", done in order to expand the groups hydroponics farming business.1989 saw the launch of the pillow pack packaging technique with the product ranges sold as a first in S.A. In 1996 Dew Crisp acquired a farm in the Western Cape and currently has two state of the art processing facilities as well as 2 ha of GFT hydroponics.In 2006, the shareholders took a decision to expand the farming operation into extensive soil based production. The group acquired a 260ha farm in Bapsfontein called Dew Valley which includes 30ha of Hay grove tunnels, 3000 m2 of refrigerated processing facilities with the balance being excellent arable land.
