Managed portfolio of approximately $150 million in performing, pseudo-performing, and non-performing loans on behalf of participant banks, with a special emphasis on loans secured by alternative energy facilities such as ethanol and biodiesel plants, as well as failed development loans.

Participated in, and counseled clients on, various aspects of complex commercial real estate transactions, from negotiating hundreds of confidentiality agreements and doing initial due-diligence to drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, corporate documents, deal documents, loan documents, and leases. Assets involved in the transactions included.

Focused mainly on commercial litigation ranging from prosecuting fraud in the sale of a building to defending allegations of violations of trade secrets laws, but also gained valuable experience in mortgage foreclosures, bankruptcy, and corporate matters.

Worked in a variety of practice areas, including litigation, bankruptcy, employment, and corporate.
