Tasked with building the institutional backbone of special operations and technician training, I empower the reduction/elimination of injury and loss of life in the course of special operations. As Director, I head a top-performing training development division staff of eight in the creation, testing, and implementation of training and doctrine to support complex, mission-critical operations. I also design and deliver training strategies for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians, providing crucial training for hazardous environments to maximize performance and preserve lives.• Formalized training processes, learning model, and instructional content; authored the first new job analysis for EOD Special Operations technicians in 10 years, ensuring best-in-class training for personnel in dangerous conditions.• Created the first institutionalized EOD Special Operations curriculum, developing a full academic year of curriculum infrastructure, including 69 individual tasks, eight collective tasks, and hundreds of knowledge and skill items.• Established the first pipeline for EOD Special Operations training, embedding the Experiential Learning Model and the Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate Model, as well as American Counsel of Education accreditation standards, to ensure optimal outcomes.• Partnered with three 4-star MACOM divisions to institutionalize requirements, define training development roadmap, and identify key gaps, analyzing training model and content.• Authored six white papers in a single year, driving data synthesis covering 250 data points as they relate to performance measurement for Special Operations EOD support.• Spearheaded EOD modernization, authoring white papers and driving data synthesis to inform ongoing developments.• Earned a reputation as an unmatched bomb technician trainer and solutions leader, hand-picked over every enlisted bomb technician within the Army to revitalize training performance.

At this time, I was hand-selected to develop and establish a transformative training program adopted across the entirety of the US Army, coordinating with two colleagues to author a training strategy and roadmap for implementation in response to a major improvement initiative for EOD in support of special operations. • Continuously advanced operational readiness, partnering with executive leaders and stakeholders to lead training assessments, define mission requirements, and shape short- and long-term goals. • Directed a team of up to 12 in the creation and codification of training practices, steering training, and exercise activities across 16 divisions and five states.• Successfully reduced EOD technician fatalities to zero for the first time in 15 years through exceptional training and instruction, cultivating an expert team of highly qualified personnel.• Designed and established a decentralized technical certification program to ensure optimal regulatory proficiency and safety expertise across 14 divisions.• Provided special operations training to 140 soldiers, and validation/certification for nearly 1K soldiers across 14 ordnance companies.• Achieved accolades and notoriety as one of a very small number of individuals to ever create new programmatic operations from scratch in any Army bomb disposal unit, earning a Meritorious Service Medal.

Chosen to integrate into a challenged organization in this role, I drove critical course correction and remediation for training gaps to ensure optimal outcomes. Appointed senior enlisted advisor on all personnel and special mission technical and tactical support matters. While serving as the senior advisor for the organization, I was responsible for the welfare and professional development of 43 employees in the Army's Airborne Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) organization. I supervised all administrative, logistical, and operational requirements for Direct Action EOD support for the 75th Ranger Regiment and other Special Operations Forces. During this time, I was responsible for training, implementing, and projecting Direct Action EOD capability in a worldwide response area.• Coordinated agreements and implemented policies with the 75th Ranger Regiment, Joint Special Operations Task Force, and other government agencies to make decisions for activities and set strategic goals for EOD capability in support of national mission objectives.• Regularly recruited, trained, assembled, and deployed eight personnel to support special operations in combat theaters every 105 days, with zero mission failures or loss of personnel.• Coordinated and planned a $2.4 million annual budget for training material procurement and resource allocations; while managing $25 million of equipment across the globe.• Received a Meritorious Service Medal in recognition of flawless performance.

Selected to lead seven EOD technicians to deploy with Special Operations Forces during the Global War on Terror to destroy enemy weapons capability, conduct sensitive site and technical exploitation of weapons capability, and post-detonation analysis. During this time, I supported the 75th Ranger Regiment and other Special Operation Forces in the Army's Airborne Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) organization. I was responsible for training, developing, and mentoring seven co-workers in my organization. My primary responsibilities were identifying, rendering safe, and the final disposition of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive hazards while maintaining $1.7 million of specialized no-fail equipment for national mission directives. I created and reviewed daily intelligence reports from tactical to strategic levels.• Performed duties as a Division Supervisor for EOD and counter-explosive device assets in the combat theater for a Joint Special Operations Task Force, directed those assets to accomplish 134 Direct Action Operations with no explosive device-related casualties.• Planned and executed 960 hours of high-risk, complex training for seven Direct Action EOD technicians without injury or loss of equipment to prepare them for any executive-directed global contingency operations.• Regarded as an expert in Direct Action EOD and routinely briefed General Officers on the training, staffing, and proper equipping of a Direct Action EOD forces.• Received a Bronze Star Medal and a Joint Service Commendation Medal in recognition of the accomplishment of National Mission Directives within the combat theater.

During this time, I supported the 75th Ranger Regiment and other Special Operation Forces in the Army's Airborne Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) organization.
