I worked as a mechanical engineer responsible for ordnance hardware used during tactical and test flights of the Navy’s Fleet Ballistic Missile. I spent most of my time integrating with numerous internal and external manufacturing and test facilities solving issues that arose during the entire life-cycle of the hardware. Additionally, I was a Control Account Manager for numerous projects including writing proposals and responsible for cost, schedule, and technical aspects of project execution.

At ColdLasers I was a part of a group responsible for transitioning the company from being a medical laser distributor to a manufacturer. I traveled solo to China for supplier engagement to get technical specs and get a better understanding of manufacturing capabilities. I assisted in writing patents and FDA 510K certification applications for the devices to be manufactured and distributed in the United States.

I was with CMI as a Mechanical Engineer Intern. For the Mechanical Engineering team, I designed test fixtures for satellite antenna components for vibration tests using SolidWorks along with assembly fixtures. I furthered my knowledge of component design with the constraints of machining tools and drill bits. Also, I worked with the drafting team to create GD&T drawings of various parts and assemblies.

I worked with BEMP to get their product created and set up for manufacturing in a constrained time frame. I was responsible for designing and rapid prototyping a housing for a hair regeneration device using SolidWorks and additive manufacturing.
