Career Summary:Working as Director Fixed Income within FIIG's Private Client Solution business enables me to play to my natural strengths by working closely with investors. Helping clients construct and effectively manage their portfolio of Fixed Income assets is both challenging and rewarding. The key is to communicate clearly and ensure the risk / return mix is appropriate for each investor in keeping with their risk tolerance.I have worked with investors in the financial markets for more than 20 years. I generally focus on the funding / investment side of the business. I spent a number of years at Suncorp in their Treasury. The most recent role at Suncorp entailed managing their National Commercial / Middle Market team who dealt with investors who actively participated in the short-term money market. The best part of this role was dealing with and meeting with investors, discussing the challenging and changing market conditions and developing a reasonable approach for investors to manage their funds. Managing a national team of dedicated financial professionals was rewarding as we worked together to achieve an appropriate balance between investor's needs and Suncorp's funding requirements.
