Experienced WASH Expert and Procurement Specialist with built-up strong career spanning well over 20 years. having demonstrated an outstanding record of service in the public sector, where he rose to the position of a Deputy Director and Assistant General Manager with the Ogun State Water Corporation, Nigeria. Served as a procurement officer and later as a coordinator for a World Bank Assisted 1st National Urban Water Sector Reform (1st NUWSRP) Project with the Ogun State Water Corporation between (2004 – 2011). A bachelor’s degree holder in civil engineering, from the University of Ibadan, (1992). Holds a professional master’s degree in project development and Implementation from the same University (2010). Obtained in 2014, an International Executive master’s degree in water supply and Sanitation Management from AgroParisTech, France. Well exposed and has in-depth knowledge of the International Procurement procedures and undergone both local and international training courses in water supply management, procurement, leadership and project team management, utility regulation and Public Private Partnership. Paramount on the array of workshops he attended is the workshop on Assuring the Quality of Bank Assisted Operations in Africa Implementation Support for Result on Ground organized by the Africa Region Operational Quality and Knowledge Services Department of the WB. Possessed understanding of the grid of factors negating water and sanitation utility performance, having been involved and prosecuted local and African region WOPs, conducting utility diagnosis, utility benchmarking and PIP implementation programs.Consulted in various capacities on World Bank assisted projects, as a Procurement Consultant for the Lagos Metropolitan Development and Governance Project (LMDGP), Lagos, Nigeria – 2011. Procurement Consultant for Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP), Ibadan, Nigeria - 2016/17. Water Supply Expert with the Federal Ministry of Water Resources on the 3rd National Urban Water Sector Reform Project (3rd NUWSRP), Abuja, Nigeria (2017 – 2019). Implemented several Technical Assistance assignments for the USAID/E-WASH program prior to engagement as the Utility Technical Advisor by RTI International for the E-WASH program scheduled to close in February 2022.
