• Provided production support for the Licensing Financial Management System which tracks receipts for the company’s intellectual property policies. Took ownership of the Java and CICS front ends and the mainframe backend using DB2, COBOL, JCL, PL1, RACF, Tivoli, XML• Defined DB2 database requirements for the installation of Guardium, an IBM tool that provided logging and monitoring of privileged user accounts as well as the encryption and protection of data at rest.• Built the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline for two z/OS mainframe applications. This modernization enabled the deployment of components from their source repositories in GitHub to development, test and production environments on Linux and z/OS.• Collaborated with stakeholders, vendors and partners while leading the migration of the several mainframe applications from the on premise data center to the IBM Private Cloud environment. This resulted in reduced infrastructure costs.• Performed both administrator and developer roles in the Government Services Agency data mart which ensured that IBM provided contracted discounts to government agencies. The data mart extracted various data sources from z/OS mainframe and external systems and then transformed and uploaded the data into a DB2 database on the z/OS mainframe.• Administered the SQL Server database that interfaced with Alliant, a 3rd party tool that managed IBM royalty payments to vendors.• Mentored several junior developers in IBM’s apprentice program.
