• Perform and provide consultative assistance for wound care procedures, to all departments and clinics throughout the hospital, with and without sedation for various hospital services. Some of the most common procedures include, burn care, abscess care, wound care, wound vacs, ostomys, gastric tube, skin graft wound care, and pressure injuries of all stages.• Skilled in a wide variety of dressings and equipment ranging from biological dressings, silver dressings, and NPWT. • Collaborated and helped formulate hospital-wide polices and In Service Training for Skin and Wound care. New policies, procedures and training resulted in increased quality of care.• Prior Wound Committee Lead. Impacted department outcomes by analyzing departmental procedures, training and staffing. Conducted training, formulated new procedures resulting in enhanced productivity and improved patient care.

• Responsible for inpatient preoperative and postoperative care at a level 1 Trauma Center. • Qualified in postoperative surgical care that includes but not limited to liver transplants, kidney transplants, spinal fusions, non-ICU trauma patients, non-ICU burn patients, non-ICU ortho patients, ostomy care and placement, gastric tube and button placement and care.
