• Maintenance of a Perl/MySQL software system (approx. 250,000 lines of code) used to process Allianz Insurance policy data for printing and mailing customer insurance policies;• Often required to develop additional system modules and redesign existing ones for efficiency and streamlining production;• Rewrote system documentation.

• Developed and maintained production systems (primarily written in Perl and C#) used to prepare legislation for web and CD publishing;• Analysed existing production processes and researched ways of automating and streamlining these;• Developed and maintained XML to Folio Flat File data converter using Perl;• Developed and maintained ASCII to XML (applying in-house legislation DTD) converter. Used to convert legacy data to a highly structured format;• Co-developed new production system for updating legislation, in C#, using Visual Studio 2002 development environment.
