  I hold a Law Degree, qualified as a Solicitor in 1981 and I have specialised in personal injury cases for over 30 years, gaining a specialist Diploma in Personal Injury Litigation (Leeds) in 1991.I trained and initially worked in York, mainly dealing with criminal cases and prosecuting for the British Transport Police.Moving away from criminal work, I concentrated on commercial litigation, representing a variety of businesses including oil companies and a major high street clothing retailer.By the end of the 1980s my practice was predominantly personal injury and clinical negligence.I have represented clients in a number of high profile cases, including the Dan-Air Plane Crash, the Bradford City Fire and The Piper Alpha Oil Rig Disaster, as well as representing 44 families in claims against the Department of Health in the HIV Haemophiliac litigation.I currently deal with Clinical Negligence cases, covering a broad range of claims against Hospitals, GPs and Dentists, including cancer cases, claims involving fatal injuries and other complex and high value claims.I am an Honorary Fellow of Cancer Research UK and a member of the Westbourne Rotary Club.
