Operating in 10 states and 6 international locations, Mike’s organization included 4500 engineers and researchers who supported a portfolio of National Security programs within a $2.5B business.Responsible for the leadership of a ~4500 person Engineering workforce, distributed nationwide and internationally. Develop and implement Engineering strategy to:o Execute exceptional Engineering performance on programs, including IRAD efforts,o Lead Engineering process development, continuous improvement, and implementation in alignment with the product line strategy,o Develop, train, and shape the workforce, in partnership with HR and in alignment with the business future,o Develop future Engineering Leaders (e.g. Engineering Managers, Chief Engineers, Architects) to include shaping Leadership Development Programs (ATLP, ELDP) and implementing growth rotations/certifications/training,o Engage with the workforce to energize the team,o Differentiate individual performance to raise the bar on performance across the organization,o Leverage synergies with Corporate Engineering and other Engineering organizations across the corporation.IS&GS - Intelligence Chief Technology Officer, and Director of CTO organization.
