In 1997, after graduating from the University of Michigan, I joined the family business. Kirschman Furniture was a multi-location furniture store which had been in business for 80 years. Over the next 15 years I helped to grow the company to approximately $100,000,000 in revenue, 13 locations, and over 400 employees. Working my way up from the ground floor in every possible job and capacity, I gained an intimate understanding of every aspect of the business. Ultimately I stepped into the role of President and successfully ran and managed all aspects of our expanding company. That chapter closed in 2010 when I negotiated a successful sale of the company that was a positive gain for our family interests. Later that year, I joined FreeGulliver, a boutique, high service, wealth management, strategic planning, and consulting firm. We "Free Gullivers” (aka “Solve Problems”)! Over almost 10 years, I have worked with over 150 business to help grow their revenue, efficiencies, and profitability. The plan includesconsultative meetings to develop goals, reviewing the client's current savingand spending, developing and investment plan, and regular check ins toprovide accountability.Projects - From acquiring and operating a Title InsuranceCompany to integrating the human resource manual of an international anddomestic company after an acquisition, there are few projects that we cannotdevelop an efficient and cost-effective solution too.
