As a graduate student in the University of Kansas, my studies developed my understanding of mathematical computations as well as core knowledge in theories of continuum mechanics. I also gained teaching experience while being either a teaching assistant or instructor every semester I was enrolled in graduate school. Between my degrees, I took time in industry to hone skills in product development and design as well as process and time management strategies. During my undergraduate career, I joined the student organization Jayhawk Motorsports and gained skills in product development and project management by designing and building Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) sanctioned Baja and Formula vehicles.
