- Collaborate with clients to re-write resumes utilizing proven strategies of success- Handle multiple projects at once, simultaneously working with various clients to create effective self-marketing documents- Rebrand client LinkedIn pages to advance the online presence of each professional- Pen additional documents such as Cover Letters and Thank You letters as necessary

- Answer questions and inquiries about program requirements and admissions logistics - Advise students with course or concentration selection, planning and scheduling- Work closely with MBA and other Masters program coordinators and Graduate Programs office staff - Assist as needed in special event preparation and staffing

- Specializing in work with First Year Students- Facilitating constructive growth towards students finding jobs and internships- Collaboratively developing students professional resumes- Serve as a overall resource for students both academically and professionally- Working closely with the School of Education

Including, but not limited to the following:-Assists with the general academic advising and monitoring of the academic progress of undergraduate students, particularly freshmen and sophomore students.-Provides support for advising and registration of students as needed.-Plans and presents workshops for students on topics related to advising, registration, and general academic information, policies, and procedures.-Serves as a contact and resource for students, faculty and staff for issues relating to the College's academic requirements and student academic progress.-Assists with outreach to and follow-up with students for whom concerns have been shared through the College's Starfish/Early Alert system and provides appropriate referrals to campus resources.-Participates in training and programming initiatives offered through the Office of Academic Advising.-Other duties as assigned from time to time.

• Advise freshmen, sophomore, and first year students to support them throughout their first years in college• Develop programs and events geared towards first year students to introduce them to the University• Process paperwork regarding student academic success, change of major, and probationary contracts • Assist in supervision of 14 Peer Advisors and guide them through program implementation on campus to promote awareness of academic and advising student resources• Advise a caseload of 100 students with varying majors on academic action to support them as they work to regain good academic standing• Guide students on academic probation towards an improved academic standing and/or towards majors in which they will be successful• Work closely with full-time professional advising staff to plan and develop initiatives that would best support students academically • Utilize counseling skills to support and engage students holistically towards academic success, working closely with College of Science and Mathematics students specifically • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment during registration season and the beginning of each semester• Maintain organized records of each student on caseload• Work closely with orientation programs for new students and their families as they transition to college

Center for Advising and Student TransitionsWorked with professionals in the Higher Education field to coordinate programming and events for the overnight orientation for new students at Montclair State UniversityWorked in an office setting with professionals; used customer service skills working with students, families, and other campus partnersCoordinate programs for new freshmen orientation to facilitate and introduce them to the campus. Work with campus partners to create and advertise these programs.
