Currently I’m in charge to transform and integrate a SME and former family owned business into a multinational US based corporation. Restructuring of the organization, changing the business model and cost reductions and sales increases took and take place in parallel. Before I worked for Bosch as a managing director in South Africa and, at the same time, as a commercial director for the African continent.On my journey to there, I have continuously assumed higher responsibilities and always appreciated the proximity to production and added value. As a commercial plant manager in various industries, I have always enjoyed working in tandem with my technical colleagues. In addition to P&L responsibility, the main focus of my work as plant manager and commercial manager in various business units was on strategy development and operational implementation together with my colleagues in the respective management team.I had the greatest pleasure and success with- growing the business whilst reducing the structures and changing the culture towards profitabelsten growth.- Establishment and expansion of new units on the African continent. - Expansion of the production network of the Domestic Hot Water business unit in Portugal.- Restructuring, change management and turnaround of electronics production in Penang.- Strategic realignment of Skil Europe BV in Breda.What helped me was that I give great importance to good cooperation within the management team as well as to employee development and the agreement of clear, measurable targets.
