I began my career as a full time musician, a drummer in fact, performing and teaching in the Philly area and beyond. Life took an unexpected turn and I became a professional driver, obtaining a CDL license with endorsements. This lasted for over 20 years. However, my passion for music and teaching became even stronger than it had in the past and I was struck with the idea of marrying my two major professional experiences, education and transportation, and became a licensed driving instructor and test examiner. As a driving instructor I bring a wealth of enthusiasm and experience to this role. I believe I posses the skill set necessary to help students realize their ambitions of becoming safe, responsible and confident drivers. Learning is a life long endeavor and I encourage all of my students to continue to gain knowledge long after the GDL process. In addition to this I still get the opportunity to share the craft of drumming by providing private lessons at the local music store. I have begun work on a book that will include my experiences as a musician, exercises and patterns I have developed over the years, and concepts and ideas relating to performance. I see this moment in time as a new chapter in my life, both professionally and personally and I intend to take full advantage of these new opportunities. Life is short, do what you love.
