Ten years was spent domiciled in Asia, Australia and the United Kingdom before returning to New Zealand. Following which 25 years was spent in export marketing.As an expatriate and business consultant countries of work experience include: New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, United Kingdom, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Denmark & Tonga.He is an certified JAS ANZ Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor. A certified Institute Accredited Business Adviser, and Facilitator, an accredited APEC Training Assessor, and an approved NZTE Facilitator.Michael has held senior positions with the Apple and Pear Marketing Board, New Zealand Post and several subsidiaries of Fletcher Challenge Ltd. He is the current Chairperson of Age Concern Wellington Region., past Chairperson of the Institute of Accredited Business Consultants, Board member of the Lower Hutt Chamber of Commerce and Business Hutt Valley.. He has a number of academic qualifications from Massey and Waikato Universities to his credit including business management and training and development and has participated in athletics and rugby at provincial, national and international level.
