Specific focuses on CNC machining and welding. • Work cross functionally with quality and design engineers to ensure that new processes achieve established metrics. • Translate technical processes and methods to train and empower production employees in the manufacturing techniques required for greatest yield effectiveness & equipment capability • Lead and guide production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective action

¥ Design fixtures and tooling for manufacturing using Solidworks¥ Develop parameters for all types of medical device manufacturing equipment ¥ Work with Engineering to develop, design, and build prototypes that contribute to new products and/or company objectives¥ Conduct testing to demonstrate performance of devices, including verification and validation activities¥ Identify and coordinate with outside vendors and suppliers on sourcing materials and equipment to support R&D activities¥ Write manufacturing instructions (MPI’s), create drawings, write protocols for testing and validation, write test reports, and maintain an Engineering laboratory notebook
