Team member working on a safety critical system for the railroad called Positive Train Control (PTC). Designed to prevent collisions, derailments, reduce human error and more, PTC is the next step to enhance overall safety for trains. It's a large scale project that requires interoperability between railroads. Current responsibilities and accomplishments include:-Requirements and Design of modules-Implementation of features and modules-Established a code review process-Using CMMI for process improvement

Software engineer working on back office systems as a contractor through TEK Systems.-Decomposed Cache routines-Defined process for correlating received trade information to actual transactions, where previously none existed-Mentored and worked with new hires-Updated a SOAP service to Java 8, improving coverage and code quality along the way

Worked on various projects as needed for different clients. This included-Android development-Mobile Web development with Angular-RESTful API design and development using Groovy, Swagger, and Hibernate.

• Currently holds a Secret Clearance as required for position.• Individual Contributor for a major project involving an external service upgrade. This includedworking with OSB, Weblogic, DropWizard, and WS-Security.• Upgraded web service to use 2-way SSL and digital signatures.• Provided input and helped to accurately bid an MVP proposal to the Government.• Participating in Angular.js development and design of a new webapp to replace existing legacycode base.

I was the principal software engineer for the Adapters Team at Taxware. We were responsible for developing and maintaining the integration projects that enable customer's ERPs to work with Taxware's tax calculation and determination engine. This team needed to have a broad set of skills as we supported many systems from Oracle, SAP, to JDE and Intacct and even Microsoft Dynamics AX.

I worked on a project called GatewayConnect. In a nutshell, it is UP's VAN, and will handle virtually all B2B messaging for the enterprise.
