“If you want the best the world has to offer, offer the world your best.” ― Neale Donald Walsch ══ LOGISTICS ══ I'm good at fixing broken things. Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA, I moved to California when I was twenty and started in the car business. I didn't have a mentor, but I read a lot and asked successful people what they did. I was a mechanic, but I got tired of being dirty and tried my hand at the sales side of the automotive industry. I ended up being pretty good at it. I climbed the ladder from Sales, to Finance, to Sales Manager, to General Sales Manager, to a General Manager, and finally a Partner. I fix financial statement analysis, process analysis, and building processes. Leadership is serving others. It's essential to be courteous and encouraging. I give realistic expectations clearly, so my teams know what to anticipate. If they meet expectations, team members receive a reward. If they are not, I look at the root cause behind it. Did this team member have the tools necessary to work? If they didn't and desire to gain that knowledge, I ensure they receive the proper training. I welcome people into wanting to do a good job. My favorite thing is to see an individual I mentored reach and surpass the goals we set in place. I like to give people opportunities. If you want success, you have to give it to other people first. Twice a week or more, I hold department management meetings. Occasionally, I combine the variable and fixed ops managers simultaneously. It is necessary for large operations, and if it's really large (or comprised of multiple stores) it will be a series of meetings. ✉ michaelkos33@gmail.com ☎ (619) 405-2589 Sales | Customer Satisfaction | Process Improvement | Cross-functional Team Leadership | Project Management | Quality Assurance | Business Analysis | Reliability | Program Management | Continuous Improvement | Change Management | Business Process Improvement | Analysis | Process Engineering | Management | General Manager | Operations | Executive | Customer Relationship Management (CRM) | Logistics | Receivables | Payables | Warranty Funding | Rebates | Manufacturer Programs
