With an educational background in physics and electrical engineering, it's clear that I have a passion for all things technical and analytical. I have experience working at all levels of the web stack but my main interest is in the backend! Most recently I've been writing backends in Go and I'm trying to teach myself Haskell.I picked up pottery in the spring of 2018 and since it has been a huge part of my life; you can also usually catch me at the studio when I'm not working. Also, I love to go rock climbing if I can find the time and snowboarding while winter is still a thing. I've also been learning how to play banjo for the past year and it's been a huge joy in my life!Skills:Proficient: Go, Docker, JavaScript (ES6), NodeJS, Python, MATLABExperienced: Typescript, React, Redux, Express, Sequelize, PostgreSQL, Git, webpack, babel, CSS, Google Cloud Platform (realtime database, cloud functions), Physics engines (matter.js, Planck.js)Knowledgeable: DOM API, socket.io, Computational physics, signal processing, machine learning
