About Michael Kosko

My past work as a Financial Administrator for the Federal Public Defender's Office, Sr. Operations Coordinator for DynCorp International in Afghanistan, and working in the Trust department at Commerce Bank has greatly expanded my knowledge and experience in a global capacity by taking on issues in Travel, Human Resources, Finance, Operations & Maintenance, and Flight operations. I ran the Operations cell at my designated FOB and acted as the Site Manager. I was the liaison between the customer and DynCorp on the ground. These positions have allowed me to gain valuable global experience handling issues from various socioeconomic perspectives. I managed and worked with employees from around the world including: Afghanistan, Bosnia, Croatia, India, Kenya, Macedonia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, and South Africa.I have a proven ability to learn new concepts and methods very quickly. When put in a sink or swim situation I have always rose to the occasion. Combining my education and past job responsibilities with this ability has taught me the importance of utilizing critical thinking to prevent incidents rather than reacting to incidents. I relish the opportunity to learn and experience as much as possible in all situations. This includes going above and beyond my job description on a daily basis.
