As an accomplished independent scientific researcher in astrophysics, I bring expertise in leveraging NASA's state-of-the-art space-based satellites such as Hubble and Chandra, alongside advanced imaging analysis and instrumentation, including robotic sensors and X-ray balloon systems. With a prolific publication record of over 180 refereed papers spanning diverse disciplines like astronomy, machine learning, nuclear physics, and aerospace engineering, I've garnered over 10,000 citations, solidifying my reputation as a leading authority in the field. With extensive experience as a Principal Investigator, I've led 104 successful proposals for space missions, instrumentation projects, and ground-based telescope initiatives. I've secured over $5 million in grants and fellowships, while also mentoring the research of 11 Master's Theses and 13 Undergraduate Theses. My contributions extend beyond academia, as I've served as the lead author for multiple NASA press conferences and articles in renowned journals like Nature, with my research often featured as top trending stories across platforms including Reddit and Scientific American.
